Too much about coming up with concepts, not solving problems completely

I find many TVM features only made one head, no results for several years. Does anyone also think we should not too much care about the new features instead of fully finish the original RFCs?

I think TVM community should learn Linux, each components should have one maintainer.

You are right. We should finish the RFCs and most of the recent RFCs in https://github.com/apache/tvm-rfcs are done.

The RPCs from the forum are pre-RFCs, which aim to discuss with the community and get feedback. They are not formal RFCs, and the authors have no responsibility to contribute.

For formal RPCs, the author is the maintainer, and TVM committers are also maintainers to their corresponding parts.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Siyuan for the response. Does the pre-RPC code won’t be merged unless become formal RFCs?

That is my understanding.

You are right. A formal RFC is needed before new features get merged.
