delay again again again …
Is there any particular reason for the delay?
I don’t know, I only know the original plan was January 12, updated to February 13, however, it is not available now。
just following up here, this was the first time a non-OctoML person has been driving our new release process, and we ran into a couple of hiccups regarding the set of repos involved. we hope the next one will go more smoothly, but very much do want to spread the burden of releasing around the community, so thanks for bearing with us here.
the release should now be available in source form, and we’re working on publishing the PyPI artifacts.
The release is managed by community volunteers . We had past releases by members from different organizations. For example @yzhliu who wrote most of the release guideline was not in the same organization as myself.
One good lesson that worked in the past is to allow more flexibilities. We had past release where we have multiple release managers, so folks can cover for each other. ASF mechanism allows anyone to propose a release so that should not be an issue.
